Tiaré

Tiaré

In western culture, we imagine that Tahitian women charm visitors with garlands of pink and white flowers to coronate their arrival at one earth’s most heavenly destinations.

Few know that in ancient Polynesian culture, that same flower indicated that a woman was engaged or married if she wore it behind her left ear or single if she wore it behind her right ear.

This flower endowed with beauty and symbolic meanings is called Tiaré. Paul Gauguin was so fascinated by it that he painted “Woman with Tiarè Flower” in its honor.

But those aren’t the only legends tied to the Polynesian flower of beauty. In fact, in mythology, the Tiaré was destined to a very limited group of people, the nobility and the royals, because it was the flower of extreme purity and represented divine candor.

It was said to keep malignant spirits at bay as well – which is never a bad thing! The superpowers of the Tiaré inspired Roberto Coin to dedicate an entire collection to the flower, but it isn’t just any collection – it’s a collection as exclusive as the story of the flower itself.

Gold intersects with mother-of-pearl, diamonds and rubellite to create a corolla of colors much like those of natural flowers. The design, or better, the character of the jewelry, exudes extreme femininity with stones that luxuriate between voluptuous cabochon shapes and dizzying cuts, and the pure white of mother-of-pearl that alternates with the intensity of rubellite.

The intricacy of the design washes over you at first glance, breathtaking and irresistible like an ocean wave.

Care recommendations

Precious Moments of Care

Remove your jewellery before washing your hands, showering, swimming or practicing sports. Contact with water, chlorine, seawater or cosmetic products may affect precious metals, pearls and gemstones.

Avoid exposure to intense heat and sudden temperature changes, which may alter the natural balance of materials.

By caring for your creation with attention and respect, you will preserve its beauty for years to come, allowing it to shine as brilliantly as the day it was first worn.
