All the expressions of love

roberto-coin-all-the-expressions-of-love_COVER

Remember the celebrated scene at the end of the movie Love Actually, where the best man, who’d been standoffish for the entire story, finally declares his love for the young Kiera Knightly by holding up messages written on a series of signs?

The ways to convey and explain love are infinite and the more unusual they are, the more they are ingrained in our memory. It’s as if love is a conqueror of imaginary worlds and each time it arrives, the colors, the language and the landscape change, triggering a period that exudes the aroma of possibility.

Venice has always known the power of storytelling. Since ancient times, Venetians have loved to sculpt stories of their loves and their families in paterae, small circular reliefs like stone doubloons, and display them on the façades of their houses as a way to narrate who and what those walls had held. Exactly like we do today, when we try to convey who we are and what emotions we carry within.

This year, Valentine’s Day has become creative and a locket-shaped piece of jewelry decorated with flowers has become an amulet of love. Red carnelian expresses the fiery passion that love ignites and diamonds are the light that illuminates us whenever love comes to conquer the land of our emotions.

Care recommendations

Precious Moments of Care

Remove your jewellery before washing your hands, showering, swimming or practicing sports. Contact with water, chlorine, seawater or cosmetic products may affect precious metals, pearls and gemstones.

Avoid exposure to intense heat and sudden temperature changes, which may alter the natural balance of materials.

By caring for your creation with attention and respect, you will preserve its beauty for years to come, allowing it to shine as brilliantly as the day it was first worn.
